Background The Consumer Partnership (THE-COP) is a non-profit Consumer Protection Promotional Organisation with the aim of promoting Consumer Education, Consumer Participation in the Standardization Process in Ghana and encouraging Consumer Comparative Shopping. Structure Governing Council The Governing Council is made of the founding members. THE-COP is run administratively by the Governing Council and other appointees. Committees Activities of THE-COP are coordinated by the three main committees: Consumer Education Network (CEN) Standards Network (STANET) Consumer Information Network (CIN) The work of each Committee is prepared by the Council. The Committees report to the Council on their activities. Council member sits on each committee. Our Services THE-COP provides the following services to industry at a fee: Voluntary Code of Conduct/Ethics Development Training in Consumer Oriented Business Development Business Consumer Department Sourcing Complaints Management Advisory for Organizations Advisory on Competitive Positioning based on Comparative Shopping
